Mr. Richard likes to do good work for good people.

He has lived in Perth, Johannesburg, London, New York, Amsterdam, Chintsa, Fremantle and Sydney where he has had many opportunities to do just that.

He has worked as a copywriter at Chiat/Day/Mojo, Hunt Lascaris TBWA, Cliff Freeman & Partners and Lowe Howard Spink. He was Executive Creative Director & managing partner at 180 Amsterdam, creating global work for clients like Sony, Adidas, Motorola, BMW, Amnesty, MTV and many others.

He said goodbye to having an IT dept and free coffee to become a commercial director, documentary writer/director and photographer telling stories for Omega, Turkish Airlines, Mastercard, Qantas, Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project, Orbis Flying Eye Hospital, Ikea, Comic Relief, Oxfam, Google and Microsoft amongst many others. His long form films have run on National Geopraphic Channel, Eurosport and the BBC.

In case you are interested in these things, Mr. Richard has won shiny statues at all the major awards and has been a judge at Cannes, D&AD and the One Show and a keynote speaker at several creative conferences around the world.

In his spare time, Mr. Richard likes to surf and make films and photos for his favorite charities. He has been involved with Open Heart International on missions to Rwanda,Tanzania and Papua New Guinea. His fundraising work and films helped build a soccer pitch and medical clinic in a South African township, a créche, a school and a mobile computer lab. He particularly loves working with The Unstressed Surf School on the Wild Coast of South Africa. He is indebted to them for life for teaching him to surf.
