Angela Barnes is a director and writer known for her quick wit and attention to detail. She has helmed episodes for Loot, Mythic Quest, Killing It, Blindspotting and Atlanta, for which she won the NAACP’s Image Award for Directing. She is also the creative force behind 2020’s viral voting PSA “Get Your Booty to the Poll”, which she conceived, produced and directed.

In recent news, Angela’s upcoming Marvel/Disney+ series Ironheart is slated for a 2025 release, and she just kicked off her commercial directing career with a campaign out of Wieden+Kennedy for Old Spice, due to release in September.

Angela is based in Atlanta where she lives with her two kids and their cat.
