Dan Opsal is an Emmy-nominated sketch writer and director known for his work at Late Night/The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he directed every pre-taped sketch for more than five years. During that time, he also wrote, directed, and produced the award-winning web series Sugarboy.

His commercial work includes Super Bowl campaigns and hundreds of ads for GEICO, Mountain Dew, Netflix, State Farm, and Capital One. His first feature film as a writer/director is currently in development with hungryman’s long-form division. He’s collaborated with A-list talent including Brad Pitt, Tina Fey, Danny McBride, Steve Carell, Scarlett Johansson, LeBron, Beckham, Messi and even Michelle Obama.

Dan is an Iowa-born Corn Boy. He loves pancakes and sharks. Just not at the same time.
