This Garden State native and Emmy Award-winning director first joined hungryman in 2010, fresh off his AICP win for the PSA Grace for PETA.
Since then, Dave has added to his reel with award-winning campaigns for Planet Fitness, Taco Bell, NBC, TRUTH, Hulu, and Samsung. He began his career as an Art Director at Ogilvy & Mather New York, writing spots for AMEX with Jerry Seinfeld, before becoming ACD at Goodby Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, where he worked on notable campaigns for Got Milk, Saturn, and Comcast.
Dave’s background as an agency creative and instincts as a filmmaker have laid the groundwork for a career built on sharp storytelling and strong execution. In 2017, he won an Emmy for NBC Sports’ NASCAR Super Bowl spot starring Nick Offerman, and followed it up with Super Bowl campaigns for PETA and Hyundai. In 2019, he brought home a Cannes Lion for Hulu’s Sell-Outs campaign, featuring stars like Damian Lillard, Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, LaMelo Ball, Saquon Barkley, and the U.S. Women’s World Cup Champion soccer team. Dave’s latest work includes Super Bowl spots for Bud Light, Kawasaki, and Oreos, as well as major campaigns for Roku and the NBA.
To this day, the most coveted prize in advertising is receiving a custom embroidered flat bill hat from Dave.
