HANNAH Levy
Hannah Levy is a Los Angeles-based comedy director and writer known for their work at Saturday Night Live, where they directed over sixty pre-taped sketches.
Hannah began their career at The Onion, Clickhole, and Funny or Die, where they wrote, directed, and edited a whole bunch of sketches...like hundreds. They went on to direct pre-taped pieces for John Mulaney’s Everybody’s in LA and write on Netflix’s Murderville and Comedy Central’s Alternatino.
They’ve since translated many years of making sketch comedy to the commercial space, where they’ve directed campaigns for Verizon, Milk, Hotels.com, Taco Bell and more. They’ve worked with A-level talent like Aubrey Plaza, Pete Davidson, Sam Richardson, Ike Barinholz, Rachel Dratch, Timothée Chalamet and Harry Styles.
They’re currently developing their first feature, Hot Ted, with Billy Magnussen’s HappyBad Bungalow. In 2022, they were awarded by Adweek as one of the Creative 100 Visionary Directors.
When they're not directing, you can find them taking one woodworking class and deciding to make it their whole personality.
