JARBAS Agnelli
Jarbas Agnelli is a Brazilian multimedia artist, advertising creative, art director, designer, film producer, and musician.
He started as an art director in major Brazilian agencies, like MPM and DPZ, and worked for 13 years with one of the most brilliant advertisers in the world, Washington Olivetto. He later founded Ad Studio, his own production house, where he directed commercials for two decades. Agnelli did over 700 productions for some of the biggest clients in Brazil, like Globo Network, Volkswagen, Honda, HBO, Coca-Cola, Nivea, Nestlé, Itaú, Claro, Vivo, J&J, etc. His work garnered him almost one hundred national and international awards—Cannes, Clio, New York Festivals, ANDY, El Ojo, Ciclope-plus many MTV Awards. He created and directed several experimental shorts and produced soundtracks for most of his films. Agnelli regularly gives speeches (TED Talks, Singularity U, etc.), performing onstage with orchestras. He then founded Birds on the Wires, where he produced innovative entertainment multimedia projects. Agnelli composes and performs as "Furio," an electronic act, and launched his own music label, "Birds Music."
